CDA is seeking two remote summer interns! Interns work in three key areas: Policy and Advocacy; Communications and Social Media; and Nonprofit Development. The deadline to apply is March 15. Yesterday, Cuba reported 2,987 COVID-19 cases. There are currently 16,416 total active cases of COVID-19 on the island. The total number of cases since March of 2020 is 1,031,170 and the total number of deaths since March of 2020 is 8,376. Approximately 87.7 percent of the population is fully vaccinated (not including the booster). Cuba is hoping to administer booster doses to all citizens by the end of the month. The total number of cases since March of 2020 is 1,015,203 and the total number of deaths since March of 2020 is 8,353. Approximately 94.2 percent of the Cuban population has received at least one dose of a vaccine and 87.5 percent of the population is fully vaccinated (not including the booster). Cuba is hoping to administer booster doses to all citizens by the end of the month. In response to the Omicron variant, Cuba has reintroduced some restrictions on international travelers. We know that it has been a difficult year for many, which makes your contributions all the more meaningful. As we enter into 2022, with your support, we look forward to continuing to keep you informed and engaged on all things Cuba.

Yesterday, Cuba reported 1,946 COVID-19 cases. There are currently 5,128 total active cases of COVID-19 on the island. The total number of cases since March of 2020 is 972,513 and the total number of deaths since March of 2020 is 8,325. Approximately 93.5 percent of the Cuban population has received at least one dose of a vaccine and 86.7 percent of the population is fully vaccinated (not including the booster).
